Same diameter, but a tad longer: The 5AL Fusion has 9 millimeters more length than its
counterpart, the 5A Fusion. The diameter remains the standard 14.3 mm, just like the
classic 5A stick. Its unique feature is the double-shouldered design, which tapers in two stages. This balances out the center of gravity due to the additional length, and the stick offers a fast rebound. The 5AL Fusion is manufactured in the same weight class as the 5A Fusion but is slightly heavier due to its length. With its barrel tip and grippy wax-oil finish, the 5AL Fusion is a good all-around stick suitable for a wide variety of musical styles.
