The PM 771 percussion mallets can be used quite universally, for example, for wood blocks or chimes and mallet instruments. The handle is turned out of durable hickory wood. The head of the mallet consists of a hand-ground soft rubber ball with a diameter of 25 millimeters. The softer rubber ball produces a much more gentle attack and a less powerful sound. This can be advantageous, for example, for practice purposes or in groups.
